About Mr. Bhupesh Kavadia
Born in Rajasthan (1969), Bhupesh transitioned from commerce to become a renowned sculptor. He has earned numerous accolades, including the National Academy Award (2006) and multiple State Awards. His career is marked by extensive international participation, including the Asian Art Biennale and symposia across Mexico, Russia, and Italy.
Bhupesh is celebrated as a visionary pathfinder whose work, primarily in stone juxtaposed with other materials, serves as a philosophical inquiry. He seeks to reveal the “inner core,” using fragmented stories and the fusion of rough and smooth surfaces to comment on modern society. His impressive art is featured in major collections worldwide.
